BBB is NOT Sending this Email!

Central Alabama - November 23, 2011 – Businesses across the country have been receiving a spam e-mail purporting to be from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) regarding a complaint and referencing a complaint ID#. These e-mails are spam with virus potential. If you receive this e-mail, do not click on any links, open attachments or reply to the e-mail. Instead delete the e-mail completely from your computer. If you have clicked on links, opened attachments or replied to the e-mail, delete the e-mail and run a virus scan.

Your BBB does not send e-mails of this nature to businesses or consumers. BBB lawyers are working to track down what is happening and will take appropriate action to protect its trademark.
